The Junior League of Albany, Inc. has helped create many successful community projects, events and organizations throughout its history.

The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Albany Race for the Cure is a wonderful road race and community walk to help raise awareness of breast cancer and funding
for research, prevention and treatment.

Another successful project that originated in the League is Gilda's Club Capital Region. Gilda's Club is a place where people who are dealing with cancer can go to
