The Junior League of Albany, Inc. has helped create many successful community projects, events and organizations throughout its history.

The Junior League of Albany participated in the AJLI Kids in the Kitchen in April 2006 and March of 2007. Learn more about this event.

The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Albany Race for the Cure is a wonderful road race and community walk to help raise awareness of breast cancer and funding for research, prevention and treatment.

Please visit the Komen Albany Race for the Cure Web site to learn more and to volunteer for this important event.

Another successful project that originated in the League is Gilda's Club Capital Region. Gilda's Club is a place where people who are dealing with cancer can go to relax, meet with friends and receive support in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
