The Junior League of Albany, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

The Junior League of Albany has adopted as its focus area women and children's health issues. Our newest initiative, Kids in Motion, combats the growing epidemic of childhood obesity through the promotion of proper nutrition and physical activity.
