Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Done in a Day

The 22nd Annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is a 5K Run and Walk that celebrates breast cancer survivors and raises needed funds for breast cancer research and community breast health education, screening, treatment and support programs. Volunteers for the Race should sign up on the JLA page AND the Komen website.

JLA volunteers can sign up for any job they would like on the Komen page OR they can choose the Junior League of Albany volunteer option on the Komen page to be together as a group. The group will likely be reporting to Jen Keyes at the registration table to help hand out t-shirts, handle some data entry, and check-in people who are already registered. If we have a large group, some may help at the Merchandise table selling t-shirts and jackets. On Race day volunteers should check in at the volunteer registration table on the Empire State Plaza Concourse just inside the Madison Ave Doors to get their t-shirt.
